Sappe, derived from French slang se saper, which means "to dress with class," dates back to a time where the French gave second-hand European clothing to the people of West African nations as a argaining tool during the early years of colonialism.  Since then, the style of dress has evolved into a culture all its own, representing a mixture of classic and modern style, merged with a little bit of flair. Sappe Euro Custom Suits, on a quest to redefine the past, is proud to represent this rich history of the Sappeur tradition with a fashion philosophy that is bold, yet simple: to create sophisticated, high-quality, custom-made designer clothing inspired by French Africa at an affordable price.
